Registrations are now open for the 2014 Australian Iaido & Jodo Seminar & Championships to be held in Brisbane, Queensland.
The Seminar is lead by AKR Technical Advisers, Oda Katsuo Sensei (8 Dan Hanshi, Iaido) and Nagayama Kuniaki Sensei (7 Dan Kyoshi, Jodo), along with senior members of the local Iaido and Jodo community.
Training in Iaido & Jodo
The Australian Kendo Renmei is the governing body for Kendo, Seitei Iaido & Seitei Jodo. If you are interested in training the AKR has a list of State Associations where you can find a Club in your local area.

How to Register
Registration is open to members of the Australian Kendo Renmei and affiliates of the All Japan Kendo Federation.
Please send your completed Registration and Dan Grading Application along with full payment to your State or International Coordinator (see below).
Dan Grading
The AKR Iaido & Jodo Dan grading will be held on Sunday 26 January 2014, as follows.
Iaido
Grading available from 1st Dan to 4th Dan
Jodo
Grading available from 1st Dan to 3rd Dan
Kyu Grading
A Queensland Kendo Renmei Kyu grading will also be held on Sunday and is open to suitably qualified members.
Kyu applicants should use the same AKR application form but should follow the procedures set out in the QKR guidelines.
Kyu grading applications and payment should be sent direct to the QKR, and follow any procedures established by your home renmei for interstate gradings.
